She earned associate's degree in Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration.

Fatma Zehra Durmuç has attended many group exhibitions and teaches art of illumination in Erenköy Branch of İlim Yayma Cemiyeti and in private ateliers. 

" The artist, who has adopted the classical, should generate new synthesis in compliance with the ties between past and future. Today, major samples of illumination and calligraphy arts are decorated and also there are only some performances like illuminated plates."
