"The art stands forever despite passing years. The art of illumination surviving for ten centuries needs long time, patience and skill. It is necessary that learning should last during the life time and people should always develop his / her knowledge and skill. We aim at transferring art without breaking its ties with past and protecting its traces coming from tradition to the future. We want our students not to make repetitions in their performances and to create works reflect the understanding of today. The only tool used in this art is brush. It is impossible to make performances if this brush is not at the hand of a skillful one. Your wit and soul must act together in order to reach your aim in your performances. I believe that illumination art should be learned with its history. I think it is much more meaningful to raise students/artists in academia instead of short term courses."
